New Chapter

Just jumping into things, I'M BACK!  I dove into an intense job and spiraled out of control.  My body and mind just couldn't handle the stress and I imploded.  On said day of implosion, I got a phone call that changed my life coarse yet again.  

I truly believe this phone call saved me.  Thanksgiving or not, I am beyond thankful for having the people I now work with in my life and for them to give me the opportunity they gave me.  They are the most amazing people I know and I feel honored to have the privilege to work with them.  

Ladies and gentleman, I am officially an Administrative Assistant at the Humane Society of New York (HSNY)!   I'll be doing everything over there from bathing a dog to writing press releases and I couldn't be happier.  :)

Offspring Exploitation

I'm sitting here watching the Real Housewives of New Jersey Reunion Episode and they keep bringing up the kids.  This whole situation beyond pisses me off.  These kids didn't sign up for this and I think its ignorant to think that they can comprehend and know any better.  If mommy says, "It'll be fun, you'll be on TV" and you're a 10 year old, it sounds convincing.  But what's that 10 year old going to do when it backlashes?

The same goes for things like blogging and facebooking and such for your babies.  Think about how embarrassed you are/were when your baby pics get shown off.  Because we as a society have started adjusted to this self-promotion and public life, will it cross over naturally to our children?  Do you think it will be natural for them to be so out there?  I am interested to see what these kids think later on.

It's come to my attention that a lot of my friends or friends of friends are getting married and I am noticing an awful trend of bad dressing as a guest.


Couple of suggestions whilst picking the outfit:
This day isn't about you.
Do not wear white or anything too closely to it.
Stay classy.  You can never go wrong.  Don't go crazy experimenting.
Determine the difference between sexy and skanky.
