WOOOO Cera's Single!

PR stunt or not, we hear that despite the movie Paper Heart coming out, about their relationship, Michael Cera and Charlyne Yi are dunzo.

AMAZING

This morning I was greeted with one of the best things ever. It's hard to make out but that white spot on the top of the Bull's head is actually a man's underwear. Now can you make out the man slouched over the Bull's neck? Um yea. Amazing.

Originally from Dealbreaker with the best caption, Anyone Missing An Intern, or so I thought, I found this gem on the Daily Intel. Gawker also had a good one. "That's Dow. He's down."

But apparently, updates from Kira say she got to the bottom of this. He is a DJ who literally went insane and thought he was a prince so we went by The Artist Formally Known As Prince. After a lot of therapy, he finally realized he wasn't. But he started to go by DJ Prance instead. I can't find anything on this so called person but her boss says its true.

UPDATE: The above story is not true. The identity of the man was found.

Progression Of A Dance

So there was this wedding ceremony video that had some crazy hit power on youtube.
Now its taken on a whole new form. Jill and Kevin have made a site for a good cause, www.jkweddingdance.com. I heard about this through Jezebel.

500 Days Of Summer

Thumbs Up.

The soundtrack kicked butt, Joseph Gordon Levitt was adorable, and I love Zooey Deschanel, especially because she made me hate her in the movie. The timeline kinda confused me, but I get the whole point. Could have also dealt without the cheesy ending, but I could see why it had to be done.

My favorite quote, besides the opening statement (Author's Note: The following is a work of fiction. Any resemblance to persons living or dead is purely coincidental. Especially you Jenny Beckman. Bitch.) was when the friend was describing his dream girl to the camera. "My dream girl has bigger boobs then my fiance. She has a much better body, she likes sports, etc. But then again, my finace is way better then any dream girl, cuz shes real."

Sydney Evan Jewlery

I was roaming around Bergdorf the other day and saw these delicate and awesome pieces by Sydney Evan. General rule of thumb is that if I splurge, I will lose it. Better off buying the knockoff. But they are just so cute!

Paws For Style 2009

I was so fortunate to have been a part of this planning process in Paws For Style. I truly enjoyed my internship at the Humane Society of New York. The people there are amazing, just like the animals they help. Here is a clip from Fox 5. Anne Craig really summed it up nicely. Plus some pics I took. Enjoy it, cuz I enjoyed planning it.

The end of the show. Castmembers of Hair, American Idols, Bravo reality TV galore, newscasters, etc.)

Kelli from NYC Prep was dressed in Keith Lissner who some may know from The Fashion Show. I have been a fan of his for a while and was very excited and impressed with his dress and his dog, Dorothy.

My fave pup of the night! I gave my mom my camera and she automatically ran around the room finding all the pugs for me. She is so great!

Too Young

I have been thoroughly bothered by this for quite some time. I am hesitant to write but it was just fully blown into the public eye on Bravo's show NYC Prep last night.

I think it is creepy that people in their 20s are sucking up so hard to children. Example, blogger Micah Jesse and Ally Zarin. Also Ally and a couple other people. I get she's a cool girl, she's connected etc but she's 15. Its crossed the line of client and publicist, interviewer and subject. I just think its weird.

Last night on the show, it was called out but from the other side of the fence. As annoying as that Jessie fat face is, she made a superb point about a certain Miss Devorah Rose (after completely talking an amazing amount of shit about people not being from NY and being fake that was clearly directed at her). She was simply protecting her lover PC but in any event, she too thought it was weird a "20something" was all over this teenager.

NYMag recapped it quite nicely. I am just disturbed. Like I loved working with Mark Indelicato. He was like a little brother to me. But I wasn't tweeting at him on a personal level and inviting him to my own events. He's 15. Celeb or not, cool freaking kid or not. Its weird. Go friend people your own age.

Yes I suppose a couple kids this age are out and about in the clubs. Paris Hilton did it, Bijou Phillips, Lohan, etc. But now its completely in public. Its a different world and therefore a different game. Its not so much I'm worried about the 15 year old befriending a 25 year old. its more about the 25 year old befriending the 15 year old. Grow up. Its not like these are all adults and the gap is not relevant. It is.

I Mean, Really?

Get this, an airport in the middle of….Central Park. Talk about convenient, this makes the Highline project look like child’s play. [via guestofaguest via Airport Foundation]

I am pretty sure this is joke. But if it isn't, it makes me really angry.
"Amazingly, there is still a large, undeveloped and underutilized site in the center of New York City. In fact, this site has remained undeveloped for so long that many of us forget it even exists. It’s called Central Park. Ask most New Yorkers when was the last time they visited it. Statistically that number is fewer than one visit per person per year." This is so untrue and one of the most absurd statements I have read.

mobile blog

I have been neglecting this blog and I feel bad. Bloggers guilt, that's got to be real. I read bloggers who quit blogging because they feel pressured. To each his own but I couldn't quit. Writing is one of my forms of therapy.

Not to point fingers but I blame it on twitter. I have thoughts I want to get down and accessability is huge. My thoughts have been reduced to 160 characters. I will catch up on more eleaborated entries shortly though. Sometimes the tweets just don't cut it. So to be continued hopefully soon. Glad I wrote this down. I feel better already!

YES!!!

I am going through a bit of an angry internal crisis right now but no matter what I am feeling, this had me laughing out loud! I came across it on the entertaining blog called A Little Space To Fill that I found from searching a search of a search (you know how those things happen).

The umbrella is what kills me.

THIS IS WRONG

In my job search on Craigslist today I found this posting. It angers me so much I can not even explain to you. This is the reason why I don't have a job. There should be a law against this. It angers me more because there will always be people out there who will take these jobs and think its just paying their dues. THIS IS AN ASSISTANT POSITION NOT AN INTERNSHIP.

You cant eliminate assistant salaries by just calling it an internship. That should be a crime. I was really tempted to write to this person and tell them what they are doing is wrong but I wont. My form of lashing back will just have to be my blog post missing contact information. Proceed to read this and tell me if you think that this even makes sense to you.

THIS IS AN UNPAID INTERNSHIP with a small MERIT-BASED bonus/stipend at the end of the internship.
The intern will be working for a HIGH PROFILE, FAMOUS New Yorker. You will be involved in every aspect of her company- PR, marketing, event planning, administrative assistant tasks, scheduling, phone calls, helping with filming of media, charity work, etc. Everyday wll be different.

This is an ideal position for someone who is in college or grad school and wants a full-time summer job now and then part-time in the fall or someone who just graduated from school and is looking for an internship that has the possibility of turning into part-time or full-time employment. IDEALLY the person would be able to continue to work part-time during the school year, or possibly full-time in the fall. It could also work for someone who is looking for college credit.

We are looking for a FEMALE intern to work for a high profile NY company. This is a position for someone who is looking for very good experience and something to put on your resume. There will be a small merit-based stipend given at the end of the time period as long as the work is well done, but this is an UNPAID position. It is only good for someone who is looking for experience not money.

It should be a FEMALE who lives in NYC or in the NY area and who has easy access to the city at all times. She should be upbeat, energetic, and VERY well organized. She needs to be VERY proficient with Outlook and Word.
You MUST have a BLACKBERRY or Iphone that gets emails instantaneously.

This needs to be a person who can juggle many tasks at once, knows how to work for a person who has a lot going on and who can handle working with someone high profile.

Most days, you will be working from your home with constant interaction with the CEO of the company as well as the head adminstrative assistant as well as some days working from a home office that is located in midtown Manhattan.

There will be a few weekends where you will be required to be in the Hamptons and will be provided with housing for that time.
ONLY apply- if you are fine with an unpaid internship, if you like the idea of working from your home everyday (this is not a Fortune 500 company with an employee cafeteria),and can juggle lots of things and you are independent/self motivated.
Please send an email with a resume and any other information that you think would make us hire you. This is a position where you will be in the public eye sometimes, so appearance and the way you present yourself counts a lot.

Thank you
