Yankees powerhouse
owner George Steinbrenner passed yesterday morning. The Times article linked sums up his life pretty nicely. Did you know he was from Cleveland? Did you know the infamous character who played his voice in Seinfeld was Larry David? That he was barred from baseball not once but twice? He also owned a stud farm in Florida?

The Hills. In what I thought was a superb ending of a "scripted reality show", the background drops and the characters come back and go live their lives. BRILLIANT! If you are really bored, watch earlier episodes and see how different the characters look now.
