Think About This

I just read this article on NYMags site and it reminded me of another story I read like this, in Eat Pray Love as well. The circumstances really bother and disturb me. There was a poem along with the article and trusty wikipedia provided me with some history as well as another version I knew I had seen before. I pasted it below.
